I believe it is for aligning the headlights, kind of like a level you'd use to hang a picture.

Is cars and coffee just for special cars? Is every car allowed?

Beautiful photos, Brian.
Concerning the GT, I don't know if you're interested or not but from what I can see, the car only has 2 modifications. They are a Heffner exhaust and Pirelli P Zero Nero tires. The tires are of particular interest to me because they are rarely used by owners that decide to retain their stock rims. Most choose to stay with the standard Goodyear Eagle F1 SuperCars or upgrade to Bridgestone Potenza Scuderia RE050As (ironically the OEM tire of the Ferrari Enzo). Also, it looks like the owner is due for a new set of tires in the not too distant future.

Wow I had no idea there were any mods at all, good spots. Why do you think they're using those tires? I can't see a good reason why they would. I also assume they retained the stock exhaust, if they're smart.

Yeah anyone can show up. The last two times I've gone, there's been an Acura RLX parking in the show area. No one complains, and people like me think it's neat because I think they're rare as fuck nowadays. (because who the hell buys a $60k FWD car?)

Are the cars mixed or are the normal cars seperated from the high end cars? I would love to have something like this here, but car culture is weak here.

Nope, everyone just blends with each other usually. Everything's very laid back and all the people are friendly.

I'm not quite sure why they would be using those tires. Most use the Goodyears because they are the OEM tire and perform well in the rain. As for the Bridgestones, almost everyone uses those because they provide more grip, are quieter, and allow you to run 265 fronts and 345 rears (the widest tires you can fit on the stock rims). Therefore, I guess you would only use the Pirellis if you couldn't source the right Goodyears or Bridgestones (this was actually a real issue for a short while) or you are just a really loyal customer of Pirelli and feel that their tires are superior (they aren't, at least in this application).
As for the stock exhaust, I'm nearly certain that they retained it.

Hmm, I guess only the owner knows for sure.
